Torpedo.

Things have been quiet round here. Most likely because SNPA is pretty available these days. Supermarkets, beer emporiums and the on-line booze stores seem to have picked up on the hoppy goodness. Maybe this is inline wit the UK having more microbreweries now than ever before...who knows?

You can imagine my surprise, therefore, that this week i've been struggling to find a single bottle in any of the usual places. As it happens i tok a detour on the way home tonight and in an out of the way Tesco, i found not only 22 bottles of the good stuff, but 7 bottles of Torpedo (£1.84 and £2.18 respectively). Tesco is sometimes unpopular for aggressive business policies, but i cant complain, eh?

Prices still sky high in Tescos, but they do have Samuel Adams Boston Lager in now.

Well, it had to end sometime. SNPA back up to £1.84 in our local Tesco. They did have Torpedo in though at a double dip recession busting £2.18.

Yes, evil supermarket swallowing up the little guys but they are doing three for two on a fair few beers, including SNPA. £1.83 a bottle to start so three at £1.22 / bottle. Better than a poke in the eye with a shitty stick. Get some, get them home and chilled. Go for a dirty / great bike ride. Come home for a well-deserved drink.

Innis and Gunn and Goose Island in there too. Peroni Reserva as well - that any good or a bit syrupy? I went for three SNPA's. Not that I've gone out and earned them yet but they are in the fridge.
